Iconic frontman Nile Rodgers called members of the crowd up to join him during a performance of Good Times on Tuesday evening.

The band also treated Belfast to hits such as Le Freak and Lost in Music, as well as a number of tracks Rodgers has collaborated on including Daft Punk's chart-topping smash Get Lucky and Madonna's Like a Virgin.

Thousands of fans packed into the city centre venue for what was the fourth night of this year's Belsonic, one of Northern Ireland's biggest summer music festivals.

Rodgers tweeted afterwards: "Thank you Belfast once again. I love you."

Previous headliners at Belsonic 2014 have included Example, Biffy Clyro and Kodaline, with acts including Queens of the Stone Age and Imagine Dragons still to come.

The festival is now in its seventh year.
