Hunchback the Musical will be a world premiere for the Newtownabbey theatre when it launches on Monday 2 December, and runs to 14 December.

Ballyclare-born director Paul Boyd said audiences can expect a mix of swashbuckling drama and beautiful West-End style ballads which will have them dancing in their seats.

"We are delighted to be premiering a new musical at Theatre at the Mill," he said.

"The cast have been working hard in rehearsals learning the songs, the words, and the dance routines in preparation for a very exciting opening night in December. Hunchback is developing into a show that is great fun and has enormous heart."

And for those who enjoy a little pre-Christmas humour, Eternally Scrooged starring Nuala McKeever, Caroline Curran and Abigail McGibbon will be a chance to enjoy the Dicken's classic A Christmas Carol as never before.

It runs from 17 December to 5 January, 2014.

Tickets for both productions are available by calling 028 9034 0202 or by booking online at the Theatre at the Mill website.
