The Ides of March star, who quietly tied the knot with Bell last October, is pregnant and due to give birth later this year.
A representative for the beauty tells UsMagazine.com: "The couple is thrilled."
The news comes as a surprise to fans - last November Wood, who previously dated shock rocker Marilyn Manson, shot down rumours she was set to become a mum after she was photographed tenderly touching her stomach, while wearing a baggy top.
She wrote in a post on Twitter: "Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here."
