Eamonn Holmes set for Belfast Takeaway

Eamonn Holmes will be the celebrity guest announcer during Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway shows in Belfast, it has been announced.

The Geordie duo will be travelling to arenas all over the UK with their live stage version of the hit television show, which includes four gigs in Belfast next month.

Holmes will take on the announcing duties for each of the shows, and will be helping Ant & Dec award prizes to members of the audience.

The show will also be heading to the O2 Dublin, with former Westlife star Nicky Byrne and TV personality Peter Andre set to appear.

Former Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Roberts has already been confirmed to join the boys throughout the tour, as has boyband Blue and Irish dance group Riverdance.

Earlier this week it was revealed former Westlife star Kian Egan would also be making an appearance during the UK tour, as will TOWIE's Joey Essex, Mel C, Paddy McGuinness and Stephen Mulhern.

Chris Moyles, Vernon Kay and Keith Lemon are also set to join the boys on stage at various shows.

The Takeaway Tour will incorporate some favourite items from the TV show, including one lucky audience member at each gig getting the chance to play Win The Ads in an attempt to bag themselves a whole host of prizes.

Ant & Dec said: "Just like the TV show the audience will have a chance of winning some fantastic prizes as well as being an essential part of the show. It's been an ambition of ours for a long time to go on tour and we can't wait to hit the road!"

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway Tour comes to Belfast's Odyssey Arena from 21-23 August and the O2 Dublin on 12-13 September.
