The pair were told it would be between either of them before hosts Ant and Dec craftily revealed that both would be leaving.

Quickly saying their goodbyes the pair arrived in the I'm A Celeb studio to enjoy a glass of bubbly and a chat about their time in the jungle.

"It feels good to be out," said Vincent.

"I had a great time and I had my experience and I am happy either way.

"It was better than I expected."

Vincent joined the camp a week later than Matthew, but soon claimed his position as camp flirt who was not afraid to show off his body as he strutted around in tiny pants.

"I was blessed with this body," he told Ant and Dec. "Why not share it with the general public?"

Initially entering the jungle with a huge fear of spiders Matthew soon overcame the terror and was able to happily endure the various Bushtucker Trials and tasks.

"Once I got over it, my mission was accomplished," he said. "The rest was just icing on the cake."

Matthew was also partial to causing a bit of tensions in camp and on more than one occasion he had a tiny spat with one or more of his fellow celebs.

But the talk show host said that was all part of the process especially with the lack of food and sleep.

And it was a lack of food that the pair had to endure with their fellow campmates during their last day in the jungle thanks to snooker legend Steve Davis and his first solo Bushtucker Trial.

With Alfonso Ribeiro unwilling to do the task, Steve volunteered to step up as he had also not had the Trial experience.

Unfortunately for the camp the Scares Rock Trial required a lot of balance and co-ordination, which Steve severely lacked.

I'm going to get eleven stars. I know there's only ten, but that's how confident I am.

Meeting Ant and Dec at the trial clearing they told him he would have to cross a rock face on a series of planks, some of which would remain static whilst others would slide in and out.

Steve would have ten minutes to make his way across the planks where he would have to collect a star and then return to the starting point and put the star in a collection box.

There were ten stars to collect and of course Steve would be joined by critters along the way.

"I'm looking forward to it. It should be fun. I feel like I'm in a video game," he said.

But as Steve got in his position ready to begin, he managed to lose his footing and fell into the water.

"It's more slippy than I thought," said Steve, whilst Ant and Dec were in hysterics that Steve had fallen into the water before the trial even began.

Things didn't get much better though and he just couldn't seem to get across the planks without falling into the water.

Each time Steve had to swim back to the beginning and whilst he remained good humoured about his lack of success, he was getting tired swimming in his wet clothes so eventually Ant and Dec took pity on the snooker player and offered him a life jacket.

Battling on, albeit at a slow pace Steve only managed to get three meals for the camp.

"That was awful," he said as he finished. "My technique was wrong. I was heading forwards. I should've been clinging on for dear life. There was me doing it like a video game - forwards."

"It wasn't suited to you, this trial, to be fair," said Ant.

"This was the worst possible test for me," said Steve.

"It's been fun," he added as he went off to tell his campmates the news.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns to UTV on Wednesday from 8.30pm.
