Tycoon Donald Trump has slammed Prime Minister David Cameron for his commitment to wind farms, insisting the politician is wasting a fortune of taxpayers' money.

Cameron wants to encourage renewable energy schemes by increasing the number of windmills in the country, but the plan has been met with fierce opposition from within his own party.

Now US business mogul Trump has waded into the debate, blaming Cameron for pursuing an "unwanted" proposal and costing Britain billions from the public purse.
