The 23-year-old star told his Twitter followers the couple were heading to Belfast for a dinner and a movie after his second round 69 at Royal Portrush.
He later revealed they watched "The Five-Year Engagement" at a local cinema.
"I wouldn't have gone to see it on my own, but it was a nice evening," he said.
But the Holywood golfer admitted the choice of film wasn't really his.
"It's not up to me," he said.
Former world number one tennis player Wozniacki was knocked out of Wimbledon in the first round on Tuesday and flew to Northern Ireland to support her boyfriend.
She was pictured among the large crowd in Portrush as she watched him around the golf course, along with his mother Rosie and father Gerry, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The two sporting stars have been dating for the past year.
McIlroy returned to the North Coast for the third round on Saturday morning where he teed off at 11.30am for a third round 71.
