Dancing on Ice partners revealed

The skating partnerships for the current line-up of the Dancing on Ice celebrities have been announced, and some of the stars are to be reunited with their old partners.

Actress Suzanne Shaw will skate again with her original series 3 pro skater Matt Evers, while former Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon is reunited with her original series 5 pro skater Daniel Whiston.

Daniel is the current pro champ as he skated to victory last year with Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle.

For the upcoming series Beth will now partner Lukasz Rozycki, who skated with EastEnders' Laila Morse in series 7.

Ray Quinn is to be reunited with his original series 4 pro skater Maria Filippov and footballer David Seaman will have the honour of skating with his real life partner Frankie Poultney.

Sam Attwater will also be skating with his partner on and off the ice as he competes with his fiancée Vicky Ogden.

Singer Bonnie Langford, who previously skated with Matt Evers in series 1, will return to the ice alongside Andrei Lipanov.

Waterloo Road's Zaraah Abrahams skates with Andy Buchanan, whose last partner was Anthea Turner in series 8.

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter skates with Sylvain Longchambon who partnered Corrie's Samia Ghadie in series 8, leading to a romance off the ice.

Kyran Bracken skates with Nina Ulanova, while Gareth Gates skates with last year's professional runner-up Brianne Delcourt.

Todd Carty skates with Alexandra Schauman and Gary Lucy will partner Katie Stainsby.

Finally Joe Pasquale, who previously skated with Vicky Ogden in series 8, will compete with Robin Johnstone whose last partner was Gareth Thomas in series 8.

The ninth series of Dancing on Ice will also see the return of Olympic skating superstars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean to help train the celebrities in what will be the 30th anniversary of their famous Olympic Bolero win.

Presenters Phillip Schofield and Northern Ireland's Christine Bleakley will also be rink-side to preside over all the action.

Dancing on Ice returns to UTV on Sunday 5 January.
