The Top Gun star split from wife Katie Holmes in June, and the actress won primary custody of their six-year-old girl a short time after.
Cruise took Suri to Disney World for some family bonding time in July, but the pair has not been snapped since, as the 50-year-old is currently on location shooting a film in England.
However, the hunk's lawyer, Bert Fields, insists Cruise still maintains a close relationship with the tot, telling E! News: "He calls Suri every day, sometimes twice a day.
"He loves Suri and is a constant presence in her life. As in the past, when he's shooting in a foreign country, he has to rely on daily phone calls."
