For Charlie Brooks, being separated from her daughter is going to be her toughest challenge after the actress got permission to take some time out from her role as Janine Butcher in Eastenders.

Words of wisdom: "My brother told me that if I was going to go on any of these kinds of shows, then this was the most up my street. By that I don't mean eating the horrible things, but more the adventurous side of the show and camping in the jungle. He knows I love being outdoors."

"I have been camping a lot and I love it," she says.

"I haven't jumped out of a plane, but I have done some bungee jumps before and so when I got offered this, I decided to accept.

"I have surprised myself by saying yes, but now I am going I am really excited."
