Charlatans play gig on sea fort

Tim Burgess' cult act played an intimate 30-minute acoustic set at the Spitbank Fort in the Solent off the coast of Portsmouth, England on Thursday.

Guitarist Mark Collins tells Absolute Radio: "We've done stadiums, we've done churches, we've done back gardens, and now we're doing a Napoleonic fort in the middle of the Solent. All part of the repertoire."

The sea-faring gig was a warm up for their upcoming Isle of Wight Festival appearance on Saturday.
