Beyonce's video for her song 'Single Ladies' has been named as the best music video of the decade
Beyonce's Single Ladies has been voted the best music video of the decade.

The black and white video sparked a viral dance craze, has been parodied by the likes of Justin Timberlake and US President Barack Obama is said to be a fan.

It beat Fatboy Slim's Weapon Of Choice, which featured Christopher Walken dancing in an empty hotel, and Madonna's Hung Up, in which she dances in a pink leotard.

Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head, where she dances provocatively in a white hooded outfit, came fourth, followed by Eminem's Stan, which tells the story of an obsessive music fan.

Rihanna's Umbrella, OutKast's Hey Ya!, Coldplay's The Scientist, Gorillaz' Feel Good Inc and OK Go's Here It Goes Again complete the top 10.

Music video website Muzu.tv asked 2,000 fans to vote for their favourite videos of the last 10 years.

Spokesman Graeme Slattery said: "The noughties have been a really exciting time for music videos.

"We've seen the combination of big-budget production and viral crazes that have taken on a real cult status. Beyonce's Single Ladies brought those aspects together in one amazing package and is definitely worthy of being the best video of the decade."
