A dozen paintings by local artist Deepa Mann-Kler have been put on display at Windsor Park - some action shots, some personal portraits, but all guaranteed to delight Best's fans.
"It has been a very, very challenging project, to paint somebody so well known - that so many people will have a different opinion about," the artist told UTV.
"To try and personalise it and to try to carve out something for yourself that is meaningful and that you want to connect to people with has been really challenging.
"But I hope I've done it - I'm really satisfied with the selection of paintings that I have produced for the show."
The exhibition comes just days before a new run of the critically acclaimed George Best musical Dancing Shoes and will also be displayed at the Grand Opera House from August 4.
The musical, written by Northern Ireland playwrights Martin Lynch and Marie Jones, returns for three weeks following a runaway success last year.
