Bangor electropop act Two Door Cinema Club were amongst the bands playing on Thursday night as the second week of the Belsonic music festival in Belfast got underway.
Upwards of 5,000 people attended the gig in the city, which was headlined on Thursday by Belgian duo 2Manydjs, the team behind Soulwax.
They took to the stage at Custom House Square with an impressive light show, which included giant LED backdrop screens displaying visuals based on album artwork.
Local band Two Door Cinema Club, who were playing their first gig in the city since March, were also amongst the star-studded lineup for what has been billed as Northern Ireland's largest outdoor music event.
The second week of the festival runs from Thursday 26 August to Sunday 29 August.
Acts taking to the stage later this week include Biffy Clyro, David Guetta and Paul Weller, who makes his first Belfast appearance since 2008 on Friday night.
The 'Modfather' will be headlining at Belsonic, joined by NME pinups The Courteeners, who are currently storming the UK charts with their second album Falcon.
Now in its third year, Belsonic has become an essential fixture in the city's summer calendar.
Last week saw sell-out concerts from acts including Florence and the Machine, Paolo Nutini and the Stereophonics, in front of one of the largest crowds seen at an event in Northern Ireland.
Opening night honours went to Brit award-winning band Kasabian, who were building on their 2009 sell-out Belfast performance at St George's Market.
The event draws to a conclusion on Sunday, August 29 with a performance from French DJ David Guetta.
