Arctic Monkeys announce Dublin gig

Arctic Monkeys will play an open-air gig at Dublin's Marlay Park this summer, it has been announced.

The concert will also include special guest Jake Bugg and support acts Miles Kane and Royal Blood are also on the bill.

Arctic Monkeys are set to embark on a U.S tour this month, following the release of their fifth studio album AM, which went straight to the top of the album charts in the UK and Ireland.

The band is currently nominated for Best British Group and Album of the Year at the Brit Awards 2014 and they hold eight nominations in the upcoming NME Awards.

The group headlined at last year's Electric Picnic and also performed at Glastonbury festival.

Arctic Monkeys will play at Dublin's Marlay Park on Saturday 12 July.

Tickets go on sale Friday 31 January from 9am.
