After casually strolling onto the pitch during Monday night's game against Tottenham, the tabby has taken to Twitter to tell fans how much he enjoyed the run around the hallowed turf.
He's also pawsed to poke fun at some of football's biggest names.
Tweeting as @AnfieldCat, the moggy mused over the prospect of turning out for Liverpool's game against Manchester Utd at Old Trafford on Saturday - but accepted he might have to stay on the sidelines, "a bit like Michael Owen".
And having already trotted past Spurs keeper Brad Friedel, he was also quick to observe that "getting past De Gea should be simple". Miaow!
Less than 24 hours after making his on-pitch appearance, the kitty already has more than 26,000 followers on Twitter and around 80,000 (and counting) video views on YouTube.
Apparently he's also been on the phone to Chelsea boss André Villas-Boas - who was "asking me to teach Fernando Torres how to get in the box" - and to Man City's Roberto Mancini.
"Mancini said he rues the day he signed Tevez instead of me, explaining he could at least put lost posters up when I go missing ..." AnfieldCat purred.
While it's not yet known who owns the cat or where it came from, an uncanny resemblance has been noted with Liverpool's adopted mascot of the 80s - who once appeared on a match programme cover, pictured with the Milk Cup.
But, as Moglet has long since passed away, it's left LFC insiders pondering "with King Kenny's men back at Wembley in the Carling Cup final this year, is this new cat a long lost relative of Moglet?"
Regardless, it seems the top flight players better be on their game or the claws will definitely be out ...
