The music teacher sang a rendition of Radiohead's 'High and Dry' for Over 25s mentor Sharon Osbourne and guest Judge Robbie Williams at Sharon's Los Angeles home, but unfortunately did not manage to give a perfect performance for her place in the final 12.
She reached too high on the final note and was sent home.
Since then the 27-year-old has posted a video on YouTube showing how her version of the song was supposed to sound.
Andrea explains: "Unfortunately it didn't go quite as planned - the pianist played it slightly differently to the rehearsal and it really threw me off, but it was really important for me to be able to share the version I had created with you guys."
She said the change of arrangement and pressure "knocked me off course", adding it was one of two songs she performed at Judges' Houses.
Andrea later clarified that she only blames herself for the wrong note, writing in a tweet: "I would like to make it clear I take full responsibility for my squark and blame no one but myself for that note".
She also took to Twitter to say she was disappointed that producers had cut her performances out of most episodes because they didn't have "much space" for her.
The Glengormley woman said she wished more of the "original songs and unique covers" she played had been shared with viewers.
While delivering the bad news, Sharon told Andrea she was a very "creative" singer but felt she was too much of a "niche artist" to risk bringing her further in the competition.
Robbie, meanwhile, joked that two of Sharon's dogs passed out on the last note.
