Cage fighter Alex Reid has been crowned the last ever Celebrity Big Brother champion.
When host Davina McCall announced Reid had won the 34-year-old looked shocked and embraced runner-up Dane Bowers.
Reid charmed the public and won the last ever Celebrity Big Brother beating singer Bowers into second place.
Reid emerged grinning from the house punched the air while descending the stairs to the Rocky theme tune. He waved to the crowd and appeared overwhelmed by his win, repeatedly saying: "Wow".
In a remarkable turnaround, Reid polled 65% of the public vote.
Football hardman turned Hollywood actor Vinnie Jones, 45, came third and said of the winner: "I taught him everything I know."
Reid's girlfriend Katie Price was thought to be at the studio to greet him. Price, also known as glamour model Jordan, sensationally dumped Reid on the reality show I'm a Celebrity ... but the pair are thought to have got back together before he went into the house.
Asked by McCall if as a sportsman he wanted to win, third place contestant Jones said: "I think I brought the locker room banter into the place and was digging a few people out. I was having my own fun."
Actress Stephanie Beacham was the first contestant to get the boot in the Celebrity Big Brother final. After being evicted the 62-year-old said to the remaining housemates: "I knew it. See you out there. It is great - great."
Swedish dance music star Jonas Altberg, aka Basshunter, was the second contestant to be booted out the house, coming in fourth place.
