Back in 2009, Australia launched a global recruitment drive to fill what it billed as "the best job in the world" - now the hunt is on again and, this time, there are six amazing jobs up for grabs.

Imagine being paid £70,000 to be 'Chief Funster' - a professional party-goer in New South Wales - or a 'Taste Master' tasked with testing Australia's finest wines and best eateries. It's a hard life.

But now it's one that could be within reach.

"A few years ago, I won the best job in the world - being an island caretaker on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia," said Englishman Ben Southall.

"Unfortunately for me, my time is up. But luckily for you, the best job in the world is back. This time, there's not one but six amazing jobs in Australia all up for grabs."

Good luck and, take it from me, there's nothing like Australia! Now, wonder if they'll let me apply again ...

Tourism Australia is inviting six wannabe adventurers, aged 18-30, to live the dream and apply for a job of a lifetime.

Other positions include Outback Adventurer, Park Ranger, Wildlife Caretaker and Lifestyle Photographer and are expected to draw thousands of applications from right around the world.

Each comes with a six-month contract a $50k salary and $50k in living expenses.

Those interested need to be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Maker visa - so hopefuls from Northern Ireland and the Republic are in luck.

But they'd be up against potential candidates from countries including the US and Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

Over 34,000 people applied for the 2009 opportunity from 200 countries.
