Billy Joel and Jon Bon Jovi were also among the huge names who took the stage during the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together appeal, which aired in the US on Friday evening.
Tina Fey, Kevin Bacon, Whoopi Goldberg and Danny DeVito took part in the fundraiser too, which set out to raise funds for the American Red Cross recovery effort following the huge storm which battered America's East Coast earlier this week.
And their efforts have paid off - a massive $23m has been raised by generous viewers, according to early estimates.
American Red Cross officer Peggy Dyer says: "We are incredibly grateful and humbled by this outpouring of support for those who are suffering as a result of Superstorm Sandy.
"Our preliminary results of nearly $23m raised are an extraordinary example of how the American people pull together in times of disaster. Their generous donations will go directly to those in need, and we urge the public to continue to give."
