The songwriter who has helped pen tracks for boybands like One Direction and The Wanted is stepping into the spotlight himself, as he bids to impress the Britain's Got Talent judges.

Among the songs Ed Drewett has already written are Best Song Ever for 1D and Glad You Came for The Wanted.

Saturday's show will see him take to the stage to sing for Simon and co, plus the audience, but will he win them over or should he stick to writing for others?

Also in the line-up this weekend are some little dancers with big moves and even bigger hair.

And while comedy can be a tough gig for BGT hopefuls, Ricky K hopes for more than a few chuckles as he presents the judges with a romantic tale told through the medium of pop music.

Find out how they fare on Saturday at 7.30pm on UTV.
