Who do you think makes the best James Bond?
Coinciding with the release of the theme song for the latest much-anticipated instalment Skyfall, Global James Bond Day is paying tribute to all things 007 related.
And with all the thrills and spills, the cars, the gadgets, and of course the girls - super-spy Bond has packed a lot into his five decades of on-screen action.
The Skyfall track by platinum-selling singer/songwriter Adele was officially released at 0.07am on Friday - see what they did there? Topping previous efforts by the likes of Madonna, Tom Jones and Paul McCartney, it took just hours to race to the number one spot in the download charts.
The song opens with the words: "This is the end. Hold your breath and count to ten ..."
Trailers for the film have already shown M writing an obituary for Commander James Bond. "What do you say about a man like that?" she muses.
Fear not though, fans. It soon becomes clear that all is not as it seems, though Mr Bond does later answer her demand to know where he has been with the retort: "Enjoying death." Ooh, intrigue.
While Daniel Craig is the latest actor to put his stamp on the role, Bond has been portrayed by a number of men over the last fifty years - including Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan.
And fans of the franchise will be hoping the martini-sipping smoothie still has plenty of years ahead of him.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be celebrating James Bond's golden anniversary on film with this special day of events for Bond fans around the world." Skyfall producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said.
Skyfall, the 23rd Bond film, hits cinemas on 26 October.
