Naomi Long

All- East Belfast

Naomi Long is deputy leader of the Alliance Party.

She has lived in East Belfast all her life and was elected as Assembly Member for the area in 2003 and again in 2007. She has been a Councillor in the Victoria electoral area since 2001, and has served as Lord Mayor of Belfast since June 1st 2009.

Naomi graduated from Queen's University in with a MEng (Dist) in Civil Engineering in 1994 and practiced as an engineer until entering full-time politics when elected to the Assembly in 2003.

She is a Senior Section Guider and a member of her Church Committee.
