Noel Gallagher blasts young acts

The former Oasis star claims he has been asked to work on music for up-and-coming singers several times but has refused as he is adamant they should pen their own tunes.

He tells ShortList magazine: "I must have been asked to write songs for people about 20 times. (They say) 'Hey man, we should write some songs together'. F**king write your own songs. I spent 46 years busting my a**e to get here, slaving over a line in a song for a month. So no, I won't write a song with you."
