The actress tackles one of her grittiest roles to date in Oliver Stone's new crime thriller, playing Ophelia, a hippie who is in a three-way open relationship.
The Gossip Girl beauty quickly became acquainted with her male co-stars - Stone began the shoot by ordering her to strip off for an onscreen romp.
She tells US news show Entertainment Tonight: "The first three days were all of our sex scenes. But the good news is if you're not comfortable with each other after that, you're just never going to be comfortable with each other, so it builds trust quick."
Kitsch admits he was in a rush to complete the awkward scenes, adding: "I was like, 'We've just got to shoot it and move on.' It's like, 'Cut!' (and you're) just naked, just waiting, resetting the camera angle. That's what it comes down to."
