Katy Perry is set to make history on Tuesday when she hosts the world’s first-ever fan-led global Skype interview.

Perry to host groundbreaking Skype chat

Fans from around the world were recently offered the chance to interview the pop star online and 10 lucky devotees from 10 different countries have been selected for the live chat, made possible by MSN and Paramount Pictures - the company behind the singer's new concert movie Katy Perry: Part of Me.

To win the chance to chat to Perry, fans were asked to submit a question they wanted to ask their idol about the movie on MSN’s Facebook page or via Twitter and the winners were chosen on merit.

The Internet first will be streamed from 2pm on Tuesday and fans who missed out on the chance to be part of the Skype chat will still get the opportunity to ask questions via Twitter.
